Short-Term Study in the U.S. during Summer 2017 for Students and Educators
Deadline for secondary school educators: January 19, 2017
Deadline for students: February 2, 2017
Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) are five-to-six week academic programs for small groups of foreign undergraduate students, scholars, and teachers which aim to promote a better understanding of American people and institutions, explore the diversity and culture of the United States, and develop or expland curricula for U.S. studies in high schools, colleges and universities overseas. Focusing on themes in U.S. studies, Institutes are hosted by universities and colleges throughout the United States and are designed to offer a balance between academic and experiential learning though an intensive academic program, site and cultural visits, an educational study tour, and opportunities to engage with American peers through homestays, community service, and research.
The U.S. Norway Fulbright Foundation is accepting applications for two programs, one aimed at undergraduate students and the other at Secondary School Educators.
