The Fulbright Association (USA)

The Fulbright Association is the membership organization of Fulbright alumni and supporters committed to fostering international awareness and understanding through

  • Advocating increased worldwide support for Fulbright exchanges;
  • Enriching the Fulbright experience; and
  • Facilitating lifelong interaction among alumni and current participants.

The Fulbright Association works to ensure that U.S. government funding for the premier program of international educational and cultural exchanges will continue so that future generations of students, teachers, and scholars can participate. The Association keeps members informed of the status of legislation and other issues that may affect the program and mobilizes its members to support the program through media, public education, and grassroots information campaigns. We know from colleagues on Capitol Hill that our members make known their support of international educational and cultural exchange. By joining the Association, you will add your voice to theirs to help secure the future of the Fulbright Program.

As an Association member, you will be able to enjoy the features of our online community, including the alumni directory, the career center, chat and message boards, and alumni notes.
You will receive reduced registration rates at national and chapter programs.

Fulbright Academy of Science and Technology

The Fulbright Academy of Science & Technology is an international network established by alumni of the prestigious Fulbright Exchange Program.  Network members include individuals and institutions worldwide.

The Academy supports the advancement of knowledge and international understanding by linking the current generation of leaders in science and technology from around the world. We use the network to address issues of critical concern, and we actively promote the work done by Fulbright Scholars so that others can benefit from our expertise.

More than a social networking organization, we bring the knowledge and expertise of Fulbrighters to bear on critical problems of global concern, such as science literacy, poverty alleviation, economic development, health, and environmental sustainability.

On fulbrightacademy.org you can learn about our programs, Fulbright grants, and our community of alumni and colleagues.  You can also share your experiences.

You can also sign up for our free newsletter, and we hope you will become a member. Membership is not limited to Fulbright scholars; it is open to any individual or entity that is interested in the international dimensions of social science, natural and life sciences, engineering, technology innovation, and economic development.

The Fulbright Academy has relationships with numerous institutions worldwide, including national and bi-national Fulbright organizations. We are an independent organization and are not affiliated with the Fulbright Association, US State Department, or any government agency.  We are a global organization, and we welcome your participation.
